My Little Men

I look at them today. All three standing tall.

I see so much of me while they drive me up a wall.

We have our good days and we have our bad.

They make me mad and sometimes sad.

But most of the time they make me smile.

Momma Fave: All Work And No Play

Kimberly is one of my favorites on Twitter. She has an awesome blog too. Her sarcasm shows and she can get really serious and deep in a heartbeat. She is a survivor of PPD and is proud to let you know that fact.

She started blogging shortly after she was diagnosed with Postpartum Depression and Anxiety. "I wanted an outlet for my feelings and desperately wanted to connect with other women who were going through the same. I wanted to help at least one woman say 'If she can do it, then I can do it'"

She still write about her postpartum struggles over at Postpartum Progress. "But now that I am super addicted to blogging I write about what ever fodder comes my way. I love to blog, because I meet so many wonderful new people. It truly is an awesome community to belong to."

I love to read her thoughts and rants. I also love how she thinks about other people when they are down even when she is dealing with her own battles. She is a very caring person to get to know. I really enjoy her Secret Mommy-hood Confessions on Saturdays. She not so secretly obsesses and loves Chuck Norris. She is an amazing, strong and great woman, mother and wife.

She blogs about some really great things that make me smile. Even brings a chuckle out. Her pictures she adds to her post are amazing as well. They really help her tell her tale. Be sure to check her blog out and follow her on twitter. I think all of you would enjoy her blog and tweets just as much as I do.

Fantastic Friday!

Today is going to be my Fantastic Friday. I got really good news yesterday and I am really very much ecstatically happy about it. My niece and two nephews found out yesterday that they passed and are moving on to the next grade! Needless to say if you can't tell already I am an extremely proud Aunt.

Secondly I am happy, because I won an awesome knitted person from Dolphiknits and it is on the way to me now. I will be doing a product review of it when I get it so look for that in the near future.

Homemade Ice Cream... Yum!

I remember as a child sitting on the front porch of my grandparents house waiting for that sweet cold ice cream. Family and friends would all be gathered around chatting as my grandfather cranked the ice cream maker. My grandmother and all of the other women were usually in the kitchen talking and making a nice spread of food for everyone. That was the good ole days. Now a days we don't enjoy homemade ice cream anymore. We go to the store and buy all of the fancy flavors from the Starbucks Java Chip Ice Cream to the crazy flavors Ben and Jerrys has come out with.

#ProjectMarriage: Love Story

My love story isn't like a fairytale story you heard as a child. I met my husband online through yahoo. Neither of us were looking for relationships just looking to make new friends. We met in February and talked back and forth through email. One Friday night I was actually at home and so we got to talk on yahoo messenger. We talked for hours and clicked instantly. He ended up telling me he had a part I needed for my truck that my grandfather gave me.

Momma Fave: Sluiter Nation

Sluiter Nation is a big favorite of mine. Kate is an awesome writer who brings all who read her blog into her life. Her life is like any other person's. It is not cupcakes and rainbows. It is real and it throws her curve balls the same as anyone else's life.
